Meals Payment and Menu

Our school kitchen aims to provide good quality nutritious food for our children.

The cost of a school meal is currently £2.60.  Payment is via the School Grid system, which provides a cashless payment function, using a debit/credit card.  The system also allows for meals to be pre-ordered in advance, as far the menu calendar allows.

Don’t forget, the Universal Free School Meal scheme ends at KS1.  Meals become chargeable from KS2, unless your child is eligible for Free School Meals.  To check your eligibility or make an application for Free School Meals please visit the Shropshire Council Free School Meals webpage.  The school will be automatically notified of any successful applications.

Allergy Information

From 13th December 2014, the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulations came into force. These European Rules will be enforced in the UK by the Food Information regulations 2014.

The EU lists 14 allergens that need to be identified if they are used as ingredients in a dish. This means that food business will now need to provide information about allergenic ingredients used in foods sold or provided by them.

We strongly recommend that any parents of pupils with allergies or intolerances contact the school kitchen to arrange a meeting to discuss their specific requirements.
